The remarks came following a telephone conversation between Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday evening, which Trump later described as having gone "very well."
Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stated, "Any agreement with Iran must remove the nuclear danger that Iran poses to the world. I conveyed this message to President Trump last night." He emphasized that Israel remains deeply concerned about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and its regional destabilizing activities, including support for militant groups and ballistic missile development.
