Bharat Dynamics Posts 58.5% YoY Profit Drop in Q4 FY26; Revenue Slumps 73%

Hyderabad-based defence manufacturer Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) on Thursday reported a significant decline in its standalone financial performance for the fourth quarter (January–March) of the financial year 2025–26. The company posted a net profit of ₹113.18 crore, a steep 58.5% year-on-year (YoY) decrease from ₹272.77 crore in the same period of the previous financial year.
Revenue from operations also witnessed a sharp contraction, nearly halving to ₹480 crore during Q4 FY26, down from ₹1,777 crore in Q4 FY25—a decline of approximately 73%. Total expenses fell to ₹445.47 crore in the quarter, compared to ₹1,498 crore in the year-ago period. Total income decreased to ₹599 crore from ₹1,876 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY25.
Alongside the quarterly results, BDL’s board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.40 per equity share with a face value of ₹5 each for FY26. However, this dividend is subject to approval by shareholders at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
