On Sunday, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya K Sharma ordered the suspension of SHO Kundan Kumar of Panchmahla police station and SHO Ranjan Kumar of Hathidah police station. The action came after a video went viral on social media, depicting policemen being frisked by supporters of the notorious Sonu-Monu gang before entering a house in Nauranga Jalalpur village. The incident occurred on Saturday evening in the jurisdiction of the Panchmahla police station.
