The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has once again extended the deadline for students to request scanned copies of their answer sheets, this time until May 25. This move comes as the board continues to address concerns raised by students and parents regarding the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system used for evaluating answer sheets in the ongoing board examinations.
The OSM system, which was introduced to streamline the evaluation process, has faced criticism from several quarters. Critics argue that the digital marking system lacks transparency and may lead to errors in assessment. In response to these concerns, the CBSE had initiated a process for re-evaluation and verification of answer sheets. The extension of the deadline for requesting scanned copies is part of this ongoing effort to address student grievances and ensure a fair evaluation process.
