Airlines are instructed to designate segregated seating for suspected cases, ensuring at least three vacant rows around the affected passenger to minimize contact with others. Suspected individuals must be provided with masks and personal protective equipment (PPE), while passengers seated nearby will also receive masks for added safety. These measures aim to contain the spread of the virus and protect other travelers during the journey.
Upon arrival, aircraft carrying suspected Ebola cases will undergo complete disinfection before being cleared for further operations. Airlines are required to coordinate closely with Air Traffic Control, airport operators, and Airport Health Officers to ensure that the aircraft is parked in an isolated bay.
