The Hindu Group’s sixth edition of its flagship ideas conclave, The Hindu Huddle, is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru on June 5 and 6, 2026, under the theme *“A world in transition”*. The two-day event will convene a diverse range of experts, policymakers, and thought leaders to dissect pressing global and national issues reshaping economies, societies, and governance.
The conclave will be inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, reflecting the state’s commitment to fostering intellectual exchange. Among the high-profile attendees are multiple Chief Ministers and Union Ministers, who will share government perspectives on key policies. Confirmed participants include Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, and Tamil Nadu’s Health and Family Welfare Minister K.G. Arunraj, who also leads the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party.
Economic and policy insights will be enriched by the presence of Chief Economic Adviser V. Anantha Nageswaran and S. Krishnan, Secretary of the Union Electronics and Information Technology Ministry. The conclave will also feature Members of Parliament from across party lines, ensuring a pluralistic dialogue on India’s evolving governance landscape.
Beyond politics and policy, the event will host prominent voices from the private sector, civil society, and media. Discussions will span critical areas such as the impact of tariffs on India’s economy, the role of diplomacy in managing global crises like the West Asia conflict, and the transformative influence of artificial intelligence across sectors—from employment to mental health. Panels will also explore balancing ecological restoration with development, the use of AI-powered chatbots in mental health care, and the growing influence of OTT platforms on acting careers. Additionally, the role of art and culture during times of socioeconomic stress will be examined, particularly in relation to the evolving values of youth and their impact on the global social contract.
The Hindu Huddle has positioned itself as a cutting-edge platform that bridges knowledge with actionable insight, encouraging candid exchanges among speakers and audiences alike. The event is designed to reflect the rapid transformations—geopolitical, technological, and cultural—that define contemporary life.
The conclave is supported by a strong network of partners. The Sami-Sabinsa Group serves as the Presenting Partner, while the Government of Telangana co-powers the event.
