The accused, identified as Momin Khan, runs a medical store in Aligarh and used his father’s licensed pistol to carry out the fatal shootings before fleeing the scene.
According to police reports, Momin Khan, 28, targeted his father Mohd Riyazuddin, 50, a property dealer, and his wife Sana, 24, in their home. Riyazuddin died on the spot, while Sana, who sustained critical bullet injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries during treatment, leaving behind a newborn baby boy who was just two weeks old. The couple had married around a year ago.
