Actress Ansiba Hassan, known for her role in the film *Drishyam 3*, has publicly accused the Actors’ Association of Malayalam (AMMA) and actor Tiny Tom of conspiring against her, failing to address her complaints, and spreading defamatory rumours. In an interview with Manorama News Online, she alleged that the association’s internal mechanisms were ineffective and that her decision to resign as its former Joint Secretary was directly influenced by conflicts with Tiny Tom.
Ansiba Hassan claimed that she had previously approached AMMA with grievances but found no meaningful resolution. She stated that the organization’s inability to act on her complaints eroded her confidence in its internal redressal system. She further alleged that a former executive committee member filed a false police complaint against her, leading to harassment during a nearly three-hour interrogation at the Thrippunithura Police Station. Following this, she sought AMMA’s intervention to investigate the circumstances surrounding the complaint. However, she said the association informed her of its limited ability to intervene in the matter. Tiny Tom, she alleged, dismissed the complaint outright and questioned its seriousness.
