US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, currently on a four-day visit to India, has hinted at a "beneficial" and "sustainable" trade deal agreement between the US and India. Speaking at a joint media briefing with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Rubio stated that the two countries are poised to soon firm up the much-awaited trade agreement that will advance the mutual interests of both nations. The US Secretary of State emphasized that the trade deal will be enduring, beneficial to both sides, and sustainable in a way that addresses national interests.
