The blaze erupted from one of the parked vehicles and rapidly spread to the entire lot, reducing the seized cars and two-wheelers to ashes. According to police reports, the vehicles—mostly two-wheelers—were being held on vacant land near the junction of Poonamallee High Road and Senneerkuppam Bypass Service Road. These vehicles had been seized due to traffic violations and involvement in road accidents.
