Navadisha University (NU), a prominent private institution in Tamil Nadu, has made a significant revision to its National Education Policy (NEP) 2020-aligned course structure just one year after its implementation. The university has introduced a new "3-2-1 Formula" to restructure undergraduate programs, aiming to provide students with greater flexibility, interdisciplinary learning opportunities, and skill-based education.
Under the revised framework, students will now be required to complete three foundational courses, two major specialization courses, and across their three-year degree program. This change is designed to allow students to explore diverse academic fields while maintaining depth in their primary areas of interest. The university stated that this adjustment addresses feedback from students, faculty, and industry stakeholders, who highlighted the need for a more dynamic and adaptable curriculum.
