Abohar (Faridkot) – Torrential rains have wreaked havoc in Abohar, Punjab. In the Guru Nanak Nagar area, a private house’s roof caved in due to the heavy downpour, leaving the family unharmed but at grave risk. The incident occurred on Tuesday night when the relentless rain weakened the wooden structure of the roof, causing it to collapse suddenly.
Upon receiving the news, locals and a fire brigade team immediately began clearing the debris and safely rescued the family members. Police and administrative officials have launched an investigation to determine whether factors beyond the rain contributed to the collapse.
