Major agricultural conclave planned in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, today: A key initiative by the Union Agriculture Ministry

A significant agricultural conclave is set to take place today, December 7, 2024, in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The event will be organized by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare. This conclave will serve as a crucial platform to share information about the various schemes and initiatives launched by the central government for the welfare of farmers.

According to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Agriculture, the conclave will announce and provide details of multiple schemes aimed at benefiting farmers. These include the distribution of agricultural machinery, subsidies, soil testing, promotion of organic farming, expansion of irrigation facilities, and digital agriculture, among others. Farmers attending the event will have the opportunity to directly discuss their issues with officials from the Ministry.

Scheduled to be held at the Agricultural Science Centre in Lucknow, the conclave will begin at 10 AM and conclude at 4 PM. Key dignitaries expected to attend include Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Choudhary, and Uttar Pradesh's Agriculture Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna. The event is anticipated to see the participation of thousands of farmers, agricultural scientists, agri-entrepreneurs, and ministry officials.
