The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy winds and rains across North India and Andhra Pradesh from May 27 to May 30. During this period, dust storms and thunderstorms are likely to hit several states. This will bring relief from the scorching heat to many parts of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, according to weather experts.
According to the IMD, heavy winds and rains are expected in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh from May 27 to May 30. On May 27, heavy rain and strong winds are likely in several districts of Andhra Pradesh. During the same period, relief from the intense heat is expected in several parts of Uttar Pradesh, including Agra, Mathura, Allahabad, and Varanasi, the IMD stated.
Agra is currently experiencing severe heatwave conditions. Relief is expected from May 27 to May 30 as thunderstorms and rains are likely to bring down temperatures. According to the IMD, Agra’s maximum temperature is expected to be 42°C on May 27, and it may drop after the rains. Similar relief from the heat is also expected in Delhi and Haryana.
