Yogi Government Minister Targets SP, Says Terrorists Are Caught Only in Azamgarh

Om Prakash Rajbhar, the Minister of Labor and Employment in the Uttar Pradesh government, has made a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP). He stated that it is in Azamgarh, considered a stronghold of the SP, where terrorists are caught. Speaking on the issue from a public platform on Monday, Rajbhar said, "Azamgarh is the stronghold of the SP, and it is here that terrorists are caught." His statement has sparked a political uproar. Rajbhar further said that in the Azamgarh region, there have been consistent cases of terrorists being caught over the past few years. He emphasized that the Samajwadi Party should seriously consider this issue and take steps to maintain peace and security in its stronghold area. According to him, the presence of terrorists in Azamgarh is a major challenge for the state's law and order. The Samajwadi Party has immediately denied this statement. The SP spokesperson said that Om Prakash Rajbhar's statement is completely baseless and politically motivated. They said that Azamgarh is a peaceful area and the people here should be protected from such allegations. The party has demanded that Rajbhar present evidence. The Azamgarh region is considered highly significant from a political perspective. In recent years, there has been increased competition between various political parties here. The SP is considered to be in a strong position in this area, while the BJP is trying to establish its presence. Rajbhar's statement could further increase political tension in the state.
