Mumbai, June 1, 2026 — Actor Bobby Deol has categorically dismissed rumours suggesting tension between him and Alia Bhatt during the filming of *Alpha*, the upcoming spy thriller produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Speaking openly about the speculation, Deol clarified that any antagonism in their on-screen roles does not reflect any off-screen discord. Addressing the issue during an appearance on *Aap Ki Adalat*, he expressed surprise at the spread of such rumours, stating, “People are so vella that they say anything,” while laughing off the claims.
Deol’s involvement in *Alpha* marks his second high-profile antagonistic role in as many years, following his critically acclaimed performance as a villain in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 2023 family crime drama *Animal*, which starred Ranbir Kapoor. He revealed that after completing *Animal*, he was unexpectedly offered a film with Alia Bhatt, calling it a surreal experience. “I thought, what’s happening? How come I’m getting to work with two of my favourites?” he said.
