In a significant development, security personnel in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district have recovered a substantial cache of arms, explosives, and Naxal-related materials during two separate operations along the Kanker-Narayanpur border. The operations, jointly carried out by the District Reserve Guard (DRG), district police, Border Security Force (BSF), and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), were conducted in sensitive forested and hilly areas. The recovery comes as the government had earlier announced the successful eradication of the decades-old Maoist insurgency in Chhattisgarh.
