Various weight categories were contested on the second day of the championship. Wrestlers from Baghpat, Agra and Gorakhpur—Sushil Kumar, Ravi Kumar and Ankit Singh respectively—secured victories in their respective categories. Sushil Kumar triumphed in the 74 kg category, while Ravi Kumar won in the 65 kg category. Ankit Singh put up an impressive display in the 86 kg category, advancing to the finals. Apart from these athletes, several other participants also emerged victorious, strengthening their teams’ positions.
