A massive road accident occurred in Belagavi district of Karnataka on Thursday afternoon. Several people were injured in the incident. Local police and medical personnel responded swiftly.
The accident took place on the Belagavi-Gokak national highway, near Suryawadi. It involved a collision between a truck and a private bus carrying passengers. Police sources stated that the bus was moving at high speed at the time of the crash. Both the bus driver and the truck driver sustained injuries.
A total of 12 people were injured in the accident. Four of them were critically hurt, according to doctors. The injured were rushed to the Belagavi Government Hospital, where they received immediate medical attention. The four critically injured were referred to specialists for further treatment.
