A shocking incident has come to light in Patna, the capital of Bihar. A student preparing for NEET at Radhe Krishna Hostel in Patna's Patrakar Nagar allegedly took her own life. The deceased has been identified as Shruti Kumari, a resident of Samastipur. Shruti had been living in Patna since 2024 to pursue her studies. According to her friends, she had been disturbed for the past few days. Hostel owner Abha Singh stated that Shruti had eaten dinner normally on Monday night and gone to her room to sleep. She described Shruti as a very calm and quiet girl. On Tuesday morning, when Shruti did not come out of her room for a long time, the students living in the adjacent room became suspicious. After knocking on the door and receiving no response, it was forced open, and Shruti's body was found hanging from the noose. The police were immediately informed about the incident. A boy's name has also surfaced in this entire incident, and it is being said that the girl was disturbed because of him. Shruti's mother is a teacher, and her father is a farmer. She had recently returned to Patna from her village. A police officer said that they received the information about the incident around 9:30 am. The police have seized the student's mobile phone, ID card, and other documents from the scene. No suicide note has been found yet. According to the police, an FSL team has also been called to the spot for investigation.
