Patna, Bihar – A massive fire broke out at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Patna, the state’s largest government hospital, on Thursday night. Reports suggest that the fire, which erupted in a room of the hospital’s microbiology department, completely gutted the entire wing. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any injuries or casualties so far. However, investigations into the cause of the fire are still underway.
According to local authorities, the fire was reported around 9:30 pm. Multiple fire brigade teams arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control. A significant amount of water was used to douse the flames, leading to waterlogging in the surrounding areas of the hospital. Officials stated that the exact cause of the fire remains unclear, but an investigation will be conducted soon.
