Another tragic incident has unfolded amidst the daily accidents occurring in the state, this time near Nidamanur, close to Eluru. On Saturday evening at around 5 PM, a private boat capsized on the Krishna River. Several passengers fell into the water during the accident. However, the story of a mother who clung tightly to her four-year-old son while fighting for her life has captured everyone’s attention.
Even in the perilous situation, the mother refused to let go of her child. She held him tightly in her embrace while struggling in the water, using her body to push him up whenever she felt herself sinking. The mother fought in the water for nearly 10 minutes before someone finally reached them and rescued both. Medical examinations later confirmed that neither the mother nor the child sustained any life-threatening injuries. Nonetheless, locals say the incident has left them deeply shaken.
