New Delhi, July 10, 2024 – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant progress in the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case by arresting a doctor from Latur and a coaching teacher from Pune. According to the CBI, the arrested individuals are accused of leaking the examination papers and profiting illegally from the scam.
The arrested Latur resident has been identified as Dr. Rahul Deshmukh, while the Pune-based coaching teacher is Professor Arvind Joshi. The CBI stated that substantial evidence has emerged during the investigation against both individuals. It is alleged that Dr. Deshmukh used his medical connections to facilitate the paper leak, while Professor Joshi shared the leaked paper details with students through his coaching institute.
