New Delhi, 11 June 2024 – In response to widespread complaints from students and parents about technical failures in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) post-result services portal, the Ministry of Education has directed the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) and the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) to provide technical support and expertise. The decision follows a directive from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who has asked both IITs to send teams of professors and technical experts to assist CBSE in ensuring a smooth and reliable re-evaluation process.
