New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has directed the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to seek help from experts at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) to find a permanent solution to the technical problems faced by the board. The decision aims to strengthen the board's examination system and digital platform, so that students and teachers do not face difficulties due to technical glitches. Dharmendra Pradhan recently discussed the matter during a high-level meeting and instructed the CBSE to work with technical experts from IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, and other premier IIT institutions. The primary objective is to address technical hurdles in the examination process, such as malfunctions of the online examination portal, delays in result declaration, and other digital issues. The minister stated that with the help of technical experts, the CBSE's system can be made modern and reliable. Earlier, the CBSE had faced technical issues on several occasions, resulting in delays in examination results and dissatisfaction among students. Specifically, during the COVID-19 pandemic, technical problems increased during the period of online education and examinations. In this context, the education ministry's move has become a necessity. A senior CBSE official said that a team of IIT experts will soon start working with the board's officials. The team's primary focus will be on making the board's digital platform secure, fast, and user-friendly. Additionally, a robust backup system will be developed to avoid such technical issues in the future.
