According to sources, the ministry has directed the CBSE to conduct a thorough investigation into the tender process and submit a report within 15 days. Action may be taken against the officials found responsible based on this report.
The controversy began when it was revealed that the CBSE had awarded a tender to COEMPT for the establishment and maintenance of various examination centers.
