Dhanendra Kumar, jo Competition Commission of India (CCI) ke pehle Chairman the, 10 June 2024 ki shaam ko Delhi ke Hauz Khas mein apne ghar par AC explosion ke suspected hone ke baad gujr gaye. Incident 6:30 PM ke aas-paas hua, jisse local authorities ne turant emergency response diya. Kumar ko All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) le jaya gaya, lekin woh pahunchne ke thode hi samay baad injuries ki wajah se duniya chhod gaye.
Delhi Fire Services (DFS) ke initial reports se pata chalta hai ki explosion AC unit ke malfunction ki wajah se hua hoga. Fire officials ne confirm kiya ki blast se severe burn injuries hue, jo prompt medical intervention ke baavjood fatal sabit hue. Delhi Police ne incident ki circumstances ki jaanch ke liye Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) ki Section 174 ke tahat case register kiya hai. Abhi tak koi foul play confirm nahi hua hai, lekin authorities ne sabhi possibilities ko rule out nahi kiya hai.
