Chennai: A 18-year-old woman was killed and her minor friend critically injured after an altercation outside a high-end bar in the city. Police have registered a murder case and arrested three men in connection with the incident. According to sources, the incident occurred late on Wednesday night when the two women and a group of men clashed outside the bar.
Following the altercation, the accused allegedly rammed their car into the motorcycle the two women were riding, leaving the 18-year-old severely injured. She succumbed to her injuries while being rushed to the hospital. Her minor friend also sustained injuries and is undergoing treatment. Police have seized footage from security cameras at the scene and launched an investigation.
