After taking a single off the first ball, he gradually shifted into an aggressive mode, smashing 102 runs off 55 deliveries and remaining unbeaten. His innings included 10 fours and 4 sixes.
This was Samson’s first T20 century in the format. His performance was also significant for Chennai Super Kings.
