A family in the Vidarbha region of Amravati district has recently shared a heartwarming story. They rescued a nearly lifeless baby rabbit from stray dogs, adopted it, and raised it for two months by feeding it goat’s milk. Over time, their emotional bond with the rabbit—named Chiku—grew so strong that when it was time for the young animal to move to a new home, the entire family broke down in tears.
Rajesh Patil, a resident of Amravati city, and his family spotted a tiny rabbit on the roadside one day, likely injured in an attack by stray dogs. They immediately picked it up and brought it home safely. They named the rabbit Chiku and welcomed it as a member of the family. At such a young age, Chiku struggled to eat on its own, so the family fed it goat’s milk for two months. The nourishment helped Chiku grow stronger day by day.
