Thiruvananthapuram School Campus mein Roof Collapse, SSK Office Staff ko koi nuksan nahi hua

Thiruvananthapuram ke Attakulangara Govt Central High School mein Samagra Shiksha Kerala (SSK) ke district project office ki building ka ek bada hissa Monday shaam ko gir gaya tha. Yeh incident shaam 5:15 baje ke karib hua, jab SSK staff building se bahar nikal kar gaya tha. Kisi ko bhi koi chot nahi aayi, aur students alag concrete structure mein classes attend kar rahe the, jo affected area se door tha. SSK district project office ek saal pehle Government High School, Chala se Attakulangara shift hua tha. Is shift ke samay, General Education department ne structure ki maintenance ka kaam sanction kiya tha, jo Kerala Artisans Development Corporation Ltd ko diya gaya tha. Is maintenance mein cleaning, painting, aur office use ke liye cabins set karna shaamil tha. Kuch leaking roof tiles bhi is dauran replace kiye gaye the. Collapse ke baad, General Education Minister N. Samsudheen ne kaha ki structure ke liye fitness certificate lena chahiye tha, kyunki yeh office ko house kar raha tha. Lekin, usko Deputy Director of Education (DDE) ne bataya ki heritage building hone ke kaaran roof work ki permission nahi di ja sakti thi. “Agar renovation ki permission nahi di gayi thi, toh office wahan function nahi karna chahiye tha.
