In a major push to address Delhi’s long-standing water and sanitation challenges, the Delhi government has approved infrastructure projects worth more than ₹1,000 crore under its Mission Yamuna initiative. The announcement was made by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on May 24, 2026, outlining a comprehensive plan to strengthen water supply, sewage treatment, and groundwater recharge across the city.
