Following widespread complaints from Class 12 students regarding discrepancies in the evaluation of their answer sheets, a four-member expert team—comprising two members each from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras and IIT Kanpur—has been formed to conduct a comprehensive audit of the Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) IT infrastructure. The team, led by V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, will submit a confidential report to the CBSE with recommendations on improving the evaluation process, including re-totalling of marks and re-evaluation of questions.
