Ajmer, Rajasthan – A shocking incident of violence has emerged from the outskirts of Ajmer, where the body of a former Zila Parishad member and three of his family members were discovered charred near the village of Nasirabad on Wednesday morning. According to preliminary reports, the deceased were identified as Rameshwar Lal Gurjar, a former member of the Zila Parishad (local governing body), his wife, son, and daughter-in-law. The victims were reportedly set on fire, with their bodies found partially burned near a field, raising serious concerns about the motive and circumstances surrounding their deaths.
Local residents informed the police that the Gurjar family had reportedly gone missing the previous night. Their vehicle was found abandoned near the crime scene, suggesting that the incident may have taken place shortly after they left home. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ajmer, , confirmed the recovery of the bodies and stated that an investigation has been initiated. "We are examining all possible angles, including personal disputes, land-related conflicts, or other local tensions, to determine the cause of this horrific act," he said.
