A shocking incident has come to light in the Buddhaipur Kot locality of Gazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, where a four-month pregnant woman, Ayesha, died after being thrown off the roof by her in-laws on Tuesday night. Following the incident, the police registered a murder case based on the deceased’s father’s complaint and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The deceased, Ayesha (22), was married to Imran Shah, a resident of Buddhaipur Kot, eight years ago. Family members allege that Ayesha had been subjected to torture by her husband and in-laws since the time of her marriage. Several panchayats were held in this matter, but no improvement was seen. The incident occurred on Tuesday night when Ayesha went to sleep on the roof after having dinner. During this time, her husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and brother-in-law reached the roof. The family members first assaulted Ayesha, and when they were still unsatisfied, they threw her off the roof. In the incident, Ayesha sustained severe injuries. This information was conveyed to the family by Ayesha’s sister, Gudia, over the phone. Gudia’s marriage had taken place next door to Ayesha’s house.
