Patient Dies After Injection at Ghaziabad’s PSL Hospital; Family Protests

An incident has been reported in which a patient died after receiving an injection at Ghaziabad’s Pannalal Shyamlal (PSL) Hospital. The family of the deceased has expressed outrage and staged a protest within the hospital premises. According to local sources, the patient from Khurja in Ghaziabad suffered a deterioration in health after being given the injection. The family has filed a complaint against the hospital, demanding action against the accused doctor and staff.

Hospital authorities have denied any negligence, stating that all protocols were followed. However, the family has maintained their allegations and is awaiting the post-mortem report and investigation findings. The incident has eroded trust in PSL Hospital, prompting local authorities to order an inquiry. Health department officials have also taken the matter seriously and directed a swift investigation.

Speaking to the media, a family member said, “The patient’s health deteriorated immediately after the injection. We had already complained to the hospital, but no action was taken. That’s why we resorted to protesting.” Another relative added, “The doctors and staff at the hospital acted negligently. The government must take note of this.”
