Hyderabad, May 25, 2026: A fatal road accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Shamirpet claimed the life of a goods carrier driver and left another person injured on Monday morning. The crash occurred around 11 a.m. when the goods carrier, reportedly carrying household items, collided head-on with a stationary lorry. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
According to officials, the incident involved a family from Uppal who had hired the goods carrier through the NoBroker website to transport household goods to Beeramguda. The complainant, who was traveling in the cabin, stated that the vehicle arrived at their residence around 6:30 a.m. with labourers to load the items. The goods carrier, bearing the registration number AP 28 V 5114, departed Uppal at approximately 9:30 a.m. and entered the ORR at Ghatkesar.
