Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, approval has been granted to construct a wide four-lane highway from Patna to Harihar Ganj in Jharkhand, passing through Aurangabad. Under this project, the 100-kilometre road from Patna to Aurangabad and the 50-kilometre stretch from Aurangabad to Harihar Ganj in Jharkhand will be widened.
