The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has revealed that a massive cocaine haul worth Rs 1,000 crore was seized off the Gujarat coast. NIA officials confirmed that the drugs were recovered from a ship linked to Pakistan. The case has raised serious security concerns in the country.
During the NIA’s investigation, it was found that a ship originating from Pakistan had cocaine on board when it entered Gujarat waters. Several individuals who were on the ship have been arrested, and the probe is also examining details related to the vessel’s ownership. The NIA is also studying the location, timing, and route of the ship’s journey, along with the cocaine seizure.
According to NIA officials, this case marks a significant victory in the country’s fight against drug trafficking. The seizure has heightened security concerns, as it has been established that traffickers with links to Pakistan are involved in smuggling drugs into the country for profit.
