A tragic road accident occurred in Surat district, Gujarat, late on Wednesday night, claiming the lives of three people while leaving a newborn baby unscathed. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the incident took place when a vehicle fell into a massive pothole. The pothole was so deep that the car was completely swallowed by it.
The accident occurred around 11 PM on Gujarat State Highway 6. Police officials stated that tyre marks and bloodstains were found near the pothole at the accident site. Local residents revealed that the pothole had been present for several days, but no repairs had been carried out by the administration. While the three adults in the vehicle died on the spot, the newborn was safely rescued. The baby was rushed to the hospital, where their condition is reported to be stable.
