Rajesh Sharma, a local resident, said that the power supply in his society has been disrupted for the past three days. He said, "The frequent power outages in our society are affecting both our work and children's studies." Another resident, Suman Gupta, said that the local electricity department has not provided any clear explanation for the power crisis in their area.
The officials of the power distribution company (DGSCL) in Gurugram responded to the issue by stating that technical faults and overloading are causing the power disruptions. They said that teams have been deployed to resolve the issue. However, the residents have accused the authorities of not taking the situation seriously.
