The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has formally approved the establishment of a Vertebrate Pest Management Centre at Dumraon in Buxar district, Bihar. The decision was taken during a recent meeting of ICAR officials and state agriculture authorities, marking a significant step toward addressing crop losses caused by rodents, monkeys, wild boars, and other vertebrate pests across the region.
