Indore: Protesters block traffic in agitation against water crisis

Residents of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, staged angry protests on Thursday over the city’s worsening water shortage. Frustrated by the lack of water, locals took to the streets, blocking major roads and bringing traffic to a standstill at several junctions. Police personnel were deployed at multiple locations to manage the situation.

Locals allege that the administration has failed to improve the water supply system. They point out that in many areas, water is supplied for only a few hours each day, and demand surges during the summer months, severely disrupting daily life. Protesters raised slogans against the administration, demanding immediate action to address the crisis.
