Wipro Inaugurates New IT Campus in Hyderabad, Creating 5,000 Jobs!

Hyderabad’s IT sector has received another boost. IT giant Wipro has laid the foundation stone for a new campus in the city, marking a significant expansion of its Hyderabad operations. The new facility is expected to generate approximately 5,000 fresh job opportunities. Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji officially announced the development.

Currently, Wipro operates five campuses in Hyderabad. Alongside the new campus, the company is also planning to modernize its existing facilities. While Wipro officials have not yet disclosed further details about the project, it is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s IT sector and provide substantial employment opportunities for local youth.

Speaking on the initiative, Rishad Premji stated, *“Hyderabad has always been a key hub for the IT industry. By expanding our operations here, our goal is to create more job opportunities for people in the region.”* The new campus is also expected to significantly increase Wipro’s current workforce of 15,000 employees in Hyderabad.

Once completed, the expansion could push Hyderabad’s IT workforce beyond 20,000. Industry experts believe this growth will further solidify Hyderabad’s position on the global technology map.
