Jhansi: Man sexually exploits minor, takes victim from Bihar to Mumbai; police rescue her

A serious case has come to light in a village in Jhansi district, where a 16-year-old minor from Bihar was allegedly sexually exploited by a young man. According to the police, the accused took the victim to Mumbai and subjected her to abuse. After returning home, the victim disclosed the incident to her family, who immediately filed a complaint with the police.

The police launched an investigation and identified the accused. His name is Raju Kumar (22), a resident of a village in Jhansi district. The police have arrested Raju Kumar and registered a case against him under relevant sections of the law. The victim is currently safe and undergoing medical examination.

According to the police, the accused had lured the victim to Mumbai under the pretext of a job. He had promised her employment in Mumbai, but instead sexually exploited her. The incident reportedly took place last month. The police also stated that the accused had threatened the victim’s family, which is why she had initially kept the incident to herself out of fear.
