Jaipur, June 12, 2024. Jaipur Discom, Rajasthan's leading power distribution company, organized a significant seminar under 'Mission Life' (Lifestyle for Environment). The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness about the use of renewable energy, environmental conservation, and energy savings. The seminar was attended by experts from the energy sector, officials, and common citizens. The event was inaugurated by Jaipur Discom's Executive Director, Shri Ravi Prakash Sharma. In his address, he said, "Mission Life is not just the responsibility of the government, but it is a collective duty of every citizen. Small steps like using solar energy, choosing energy-efficient devices, and reducing plastic use can make a significant contribution to saving the environment." He further stated that Discom is continuously working to promote the use of renewable energy, including the installation of solar panels, smart metering, and energy efficiency programs. During the seminar, environmentalist Dr. Aruna Saxena delivered a detailed discussion on 'Climate Change and Energy Conservation'.
