Bengaluru, May 25, 2026 – The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has taken a firm stance against party leaders who failed to attend a crucial two-day Special Intensive Revision (SIR) conclave, warning that non-attendees will lose their posts. Speaking to the media on Monday, KPCC president and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated that the party has been directed to remove office-bearers who did not participate in the event. "I have been issued direction to remove the office bearers who have not come. Attendance will be checked and they will be removed. Those not interested in party work will be removed from their post," Shivakumar declared, underscoring the Congress’s zero-tolerance policy toward absenteeism in critical organizational functions.
