The Karnataka Legislative Assembly and the Karnataka Legislative Council have taken a significant step towards digitalisation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to develop the National e-Vidhan application. This application aims to digitise the operations of both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council, making the legislative process more efficient and transparent. The MoU was announced by Assembly Speaker U. T. Khader in a press conference held in Mangaluru on June 2.
