Suriya’s latest fantasy action film, *Karuppu*, directed by RJ Balaji, is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office, nearly two weeks after its release. According to Sacnilk, the film collected a net of Rs 14.45 crore on its 10th day, marking a strong recovery after a mid-week dip. This is a noticeable increase from its Day 9 collection of Rs 12.45 crore, signaling renewed audience interest during the second weekend.
The film’s total net collection in India has now reached Rs 148.55 crore, while its worldwide gross stands impressively at Rs 236.78 crore. Within this, India accounts for Rs 172.03 crore, and overseas markets have contributed Rs 64.75 crore. The movie’s performance has been particularly strong during weekends, helping it recover from a sluggish period during the weekdays. For instance, after a strong opening weekend, the film saw a decline, collecting Rs 12.75 crore on Day 5, Rs 10.70 crore on Day 6, and Rs 8.10 crore on Day 7. However, the second weekend brought a significant boost, with Day 9 grossing Rs 12.45 crore and Day 10 reaching Rs 14.45 crore.
