China and Pakistan issued a joint statement on Tuesday, outlining their stance on the Kashmir issue. The statement emphasized that the matter should be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. Following the release of the statement, the Indian government reacted strongly and conveyed its objections to China and Pakistan through diplomatic channels.
The Ministry of External Affairs stated that Kashmir is an integral part of India and that no external interference in the matter would be acceptable. Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, “India’s position on the Kashmir issue is clear. It is an internal matter, and no form of external interference is acceptable.”
